The Tokin’ Tiger Origin Story
Like all great ideas, Tokin’ Tiger began with a tiger.
Well… sort of.
Legend has it that our founder found himself face-to-face with Theodore the Tiger during a particularly intense brainstorming session. Theodore had opinions. Lots of them.
His biggest complaint?
Why should people have to trek across town just to find the accessories they’re looking for?
Theodore imagined something simpler: a Canadian online head shop with a wide selection, useful product information, fair prices and delivery straight to your door.
There may have been roaring.
There may have been cornflakes.
The historical record is unclear.
What we do know is that our founder returned to Calgary with an idea—and Tokin’ Tiger was born.
Today, we’re a proudly Canadian online head shop based in Calgary, Alberta, offering glassware, accessories and specialty products sourced from suppliers around the world.
From classic designs to newer innovations, we’re always looking for interesting additions to the collection while giving our customers the information they need to choose the right products.
As for Theodore?
He still takes full credit for everything.
